StudentBeans.com Leading role for this high traffic Web Portal. More than 5 million hits per month and up to 1200 sign-ups per day. Free to join, all the revenue comes from online marketing.
Complete ownership for the development and maintenance of new areas/channels, leading role for complex technical issues (such as the integration of the VBulletin Forum), mentoring and technical assistance of staff, Quality Assurance (with the use of Regression Tests) and Release Manager roles.
Directly involved in the set up of the development and deployment process. -

We have deployed advanced techniques for the search and aggregation of jobs from a number of sources. -
Contact me for further details I created a passwords sharing application available over the Internet for a small-to-medium company. Because of the important security implications, I deployed advanced Apache techniques, including adopting SSL as a transport protocol. -
Cash Converters I developed and deployed new funcionalities of the system (both on the front and back end) and improved some old ones (bug fixing and performance optimization).
It is one of the most important and sophisticated eCommerce platforms in the UK and Australia. It offers features similar to Ebay's. -
Aftershow I was the project leader.
Its strenghts are: very solid Object Oriented API, Apache rewriting rules to get "smart" URL's, developing of Unit Tests, adoption of phpDoc for API documentation and clever use of AJAX.
It is also noteworthy the advanced fuzzy matching technique of the user input against the data stored in the database for implementing a flexible search engine.

The Club I took part in both the Analysis and Design phases. I also implemented the SMS sending facility using AJAX.
A Community that allows its members to receive SMS messages without disclosing their mobile numbers.
It was a significant breakthrough in the field of mobile and web technology convergence. -
Prestigious Properties I extended the very flexible Content Management System developed by the company.
It is the Website of an Estate Agency that deals in luxury properties in the Caribbean. -
The Naked Truth I developed and tested parts of it using the Content Management System developed by the company.
It is a Reviews Community Website for a major medical book publisher.

Plancake I am the founder and leader for this open source online task manager and tool for implementing the GTD (Getting Things Done) methodology by David Allen.
It is hosted on my CentOS dedicated server, together with an SVN repository and an installation on the Eventum issue tracker. -
sfErrorNotifierPlugin Symfony Plugin I developed this Symfony plugin to help keeping the application stable, notifing developers of errors that may have occured.
It is hosted by the Symfony project and freely available for downloading.

Wings Properties It is a Management System for an Estate Agency based in London.
The template was provided by my client who had a tight budget for this project.
The strenght of the application is not the front-end (quite simple) but the [password-protected] back-end that shows a lot of flexibility and great usability.
I have developed it using the PHP5 MVC Framework Symfony taking great advantage of the Admin generation tool.
It is hosted on the LAMP Server I set up and am maintaining. -

Italandia My personal project. I designed it, implemented it and set up the Debian LAMP server on which it runs with the help of some of my fellow University students.
It is a sophisticated application using AJAX technology, integrating many Open Source projects and implementing a Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern through Smarty.
